Venting - Baffel

For the Venting, I drilled several small holes near the top @ 2" from the top three small holes in a row in three places around the drum. Same thing on the Bottom - to vent the kick side. The baffle consists of a 4" high density foam cut to a tight fit with a fiberboard type material glued...

Switched to Cocktail with band, they love it!

I finally made the leap after a couple years of playing around with a cocktail drum

Pulled it on one of my bands and they flipped. We play acoustic music with a
rappy urban feel, think G-Love, etc... as well as old nuggets, really nice fit.

Happy as Happy can be!

Built my first Cocktail drum - did my first gig with it !

Hey - I've been wanting to drop the "big kit" and finally finished up my first coctail drum, I'll post some pics soon. Basically a 3 ply- 14 x 30 shell Slingy Lugs, Stick saver rims, Baffeled and Vented, 10" studio hats, 14 crash, 6 splash. My band has a dobro, stand up bass, couple g...
