I imagine that I could move the 8" tom to the front. The rims mount gives that possibility. I might give it a try. I agree it would be easier to play that way. It would be a matter of balancing out the weight then once the tom is moved.

Metropolitian Cocktail Kit

Metro Drum cocktail kit for sale. 14x24 main drum, 10 Pearl snare, 6x6 tom and 8x12 deep tom. All drums are rims mounted. Kick pedal and mounting hardware included. Hey, thanks for the replys. It's actually kinda fun having the small toms on opposite sides of the main drum...a bit of a challenge, and takes some getting used to. The rims mounts are nice but I really don't know if they add that much to the sound of the kit. I'm going to be selling this one if any...

I've seen brackets on Ebay for a buy it now of $39.00US. You might look there. Also Gibralter makes a bracket that only attaches to one leg. Phattie uses them on their kits, I emailed them at one time and they gave me the part number...sorry I don't have the number any longer.
