Ive found the sound that i have got is punchy and tight wen i listen to the kit off stage but wen i am playing over it sounds totely off i have remo pinstipes both ends 1 coated damp ring on top , thin foam 1 inch high 1/4 inch thick layed round the bottom skin and a hard rubber kick pad 4 the punch...

i got mine about 6-8 months ago and always take it with me and one of my reg kits stand it there for fun and end up play that most of the night giged it quit a bit now just got another snare Pearl 10" fire cracker arsome sound but had to put a fitting on it to mount it ...playing for a reggee b...

as you no im still finding me feet and taken my cocktail kit most places that i play, it has made peeps look twice and after the gig ,thay need to have a go , but things needed to be changed the fittings to hold the tom,share & legs are not that good so ive changed them to gibroter the space bet...

hi ther is a kit just like that in the local drum shop were i live not herd it yet but they are raffleing it off ?1.00 a ticket i got ?30 over time lol, link to there site http://www.thedrumcentre.co.uk i go there quite a bit coz i get good deals there BUT they dont do COCKTAIL kits only club jordon...

hi all

the media, ive bin playing for 27 years on a standerd kit for loads of bands,got me cocktail and to get the jist play at loads of jams all typs of tunes just wondered i record most of them and the studio work ive been geting ,,,if you were intrested in a listen how i pass them on for thoughts..........

hay you hi all

Thats the same as ive bought of ebay ?150 changed the snare to a 10" x 4.5 " tama and some of the fitings coated aquerion single ply on the 10" tom no dampners......its a 15" tom /bass x 24" remo 2ply coated on top with a 16" cut down dead ringer to 15" so it fits ...

mine was a bargin on ebay.co.uk cheep ?150 but there ?250 now when i last looked , there a compny in germany but they have an outlet in the uk which was a bonuse 4 me ,there is a ware house in london that sell simler i think its in maple 2 dif colours 4 ?210 delved il have a look for the booklet tha...

hi guys i got the simlar sort of kit off ebay in a wine green looks nice yes the hardware prty good changed a few bits like the snare drum to a 10" not the 8" so i dont miss lol just messing with it to get the sound im after

Hi guys im a bit new to this site :oops: just got me cocktail kit,hope to play the same style on that as i am on my tradish kits im a bit of an all rounder (do a lot of dep work) play for 4 total dif style bands from rock,jazz ,funk ,r&b ,pop & so on, yes there is rockabilly in there aswell ...
