Re: How much sound difference between 14" vs. 16"

Hey Steve,
You will be fine.
I've had 14, 15, and 16 inch main drums, and they were all good.
So many variables: heads, tunings, shells, beaters.
Once you dial it in, it will be great.

Re: A couple of Pictures Just for Fun

i love small room gigs. much nicer to play ( and listen) at that volume thinks me.
Remo makes great stuff, but their finishes are not my cup of tea.

Re: Cases for cocktail drums?

Hey Steve, I also had a club Jordan, but sold it because I needed the money and because I needed an excuse to make my own kit. I make a 16 in kit thinking I needed more thump, but actually I made a 14 last year which Really had a great bass sound. Kind of thinking that 14 is a really great size espe...

Re: Cases for cocktail drums?

I have a case just like this, but a different manufacture. It's 18 diameter but it has a flattened out part so it wont roll when placed sideways on the ground. It holds my 24 by 16 inch cocktail drum just fine with room for a snare and cymbal bag. Its fine for light duty. I'm not crazy about carryin...

Hey Tony,
Great job.
Are those stave drums, and if so, are they heavy?

Hi Peter,
Great as usual.
How do you like the backwards pedal position?
I'll have to try that.
Thanks
