I've had 14, 15, and 16 inch main drums, and they were all good.
So many variables: heads, tunings, shells, beaters.
Once you dial it in, it will be great.

I have a case just like this, but a different manufacture. It's 18 diameter but it has a flattened out part so it wont roll when placed sideways on the ground.
