You could get a welding/fab shop to make a simple u-shaped bracket out of flat stock with the appropriate bends. Take a picture and your drum, let them measure it. It shouldn't cost very much. typically I put one mic on the kick, and in larger venues, another on the tom rim to pick up the snare tom and hat. Gives me more than enough coverage - especially with americana style music.
