Hey Steve, If you want to try this out as a poor man's Yamaha, get long piece of rod and use a cowbell clamp with a thick felt washer on top! I believe most people get the right angle Z arms and bend them to the angle they like!

Hey Garvin, Thanks for all the great info! Good thinking on ordering by phone! I often do this with stores selling on ebay an I find I generally get faster shipping since they know the order is coming. Plus you get a sense of who you are dealing with and what they actually have in stock! Let us know...

You have probably noticed (DUH) that the forum ha been upgraded. This was an emergency as the site was getting seriously attacked by hackers!

Hi Robin, Welcome to the forums! Sounds like you've got a pretty nice drum there! You are, of course, dealing with the hardest part of the all-in-one Cocktail Kit, the snare sound.
