super bowl cocktail kit!
Hey everyone,The opening ceremonies for the super bowl had Aaron Neville and Aretha Franklin singing and I am not sure,but somebody was playing what looked like a steve jordan kit...it was pretty cool,everyone was drinking and eating at the party we had and my dumb ass is yelling at the tv"look...

Premier drums {and some other drum companies} make an 8"x20" bass drum,I want to get one and trick it out cocktail style and use it just as a kick.It would be real low to the floor and I think I could mount the tom holder to a cymbal stand and put the pedal under it.Does anyone think this ...

I used to hate watching Charlie Watts play without hitting the hats on 2 and 4,then I realized he didn't need to,it fit what the Stones were doing...simple straight up rock n roll,perfect....less is more{sometimes},anyway keep it real rock/cocktail freaks!

put the stick between your pointer and middle finger almost in the middle of the stick but a little closer to the butt end.Make your fingers"walk",but keep them straight,your wrist willmove with it a little...it takes a while to get the speed going.. and then playing in time with the spinn...

As far as bands go the influences I feel I would like to come across are The Cramps,Rev .Horton Heat,Tiger Army,Mad Sin...for "psychobilly" style stuff.The Punk bands I dig go on and on, but the mix I would love to nail down would be Social Distortion meets the Violent Femmes with T.S.O.L ...
