16 inch drum cradle
i am looking for a cradle to hold my drum, to play it in the horizontal position. Not finding much on an internet search. I was thinking of useing 2 cocktail drums. One horizontal, one floor tom, along with a snare, and a ride tom.

cocktail drums and guitar duo
Are any of you in a cocktail drums and guitar duo? The guitar player in my band and I were thinking about doing some duo stuff, to play in some small clubs or opening slots at bigger venues. We would be playing Americana music.

I made one from a piece of 12 inch PVC pipe with a Roc-n-Soc seat on top of it. I put a hinge on the seat bottom and added a small block of wood inside to attach the hinge to the pipe. I have a excel cocktail drum. It sounds good, but I am looking for a better sound from it. I have all the hardware from a early 60s ludwig floor tom. The drum itself is 6 lugs now. Got a call from vater today. They are sending me out a replacement in the mail.Great job vater. They were out of stock at guitar center, so I got a pair of vater wood handle whips.
