internal snares question for mangorockfish

Here's a question for mangorockfish. How many screws are there on your snare and does it have the quick release knob? I want to make sure you have the same snares as I do before I give you a measurement.

Mine has three screws in a triangular plate w/the main rod going through the center. It is a Gibralter just like yours.

Sounds like it is the same one. The center hole to top of edge is only 2-1/8 inches. its acctually almost in line with the center of the lugs. Be careful when you put it together. Those knobs are not the strongest plastic in the world.

Thanks a bunch, my friend. Probably won't get to do too much for a week or so, as we are going to be practicing quite a bit for an upcoming gig and my job keeps me pretty busy also.
