Language Translation!

I have added Babel Fish translation to the forums for the non-native english speakers out there!

It looks like it works pretty well. Let me know how it is if you us it.

It looks like it works best if you click on the flag at the first page of the forums. Otherwise you have to go through some other steps!

I just answered my own question. Works automatically on my PC. Pity. I prefer my Mac. Anybody get it to work on a Mac?

Hmmmm....

Works fine on my Mac. Check to see if you have JavaScript turned off.

I will have to test it in different browsers but I know it works in Firefox. Should be fine on most browsers though since it is a server side service.

Well... it looks like Safari and Explorer Mac do not handle the JavaScript properly.

Try FireFox. I'll see if I can find a workaround.

Hmmmm....

Now it looks like babelfish.altavista.com is down. It was killing the load time of the forum so I have dsabled the translation feature for now. I'll have it back as soon as their site is working properly.

Ok, I have now switched the translation over to Google Translation. I hope it works as well as Babelfish did (while it was actually working!)

I got rid of the Javascript as well and made direct links so it should work with ALL browser and platforms.
