Hey!
I was at Menard's the other day and saw a really heavy duty black plastic construction job case made by Stanley for $50. It's over 30" long and about 22" wide and deep, and it's on wheels and has a pull out tray that could be used for sticks or odds and ends. A little foam padding and maybe a home built divider, and it would easily carry a 24" deep cocktail drum and all of the stuff that goes with it. The thing on its own is already pretty heavy, but since it's on wheels, that's no big deal. Just thought I'd post after seeing all the $150+ soft cocktail bags out there.

Was there a part number on that Stanley case? Sounds ideal, and I'm guessing you could put in some divivders and get a fair amount of hardware in there too.
As an aside, I was just on Musicians Friend, and saw some conga cases by Nomad for anywhere from 59-99 dollars, but this will of course only hold the drum.
