NEW DW COCKTAIL KIT!
has anyone been on the DW website lately and seen their new cocktail kit. It looks incredible. I want one sooooo bad. I wonder how much?

one expensive set
I'd bet my truck that it would be cheaper to buy a club jordan, cases for it, zildjian cymbals and a few extra heads than to buy just DW's cocktail drum set.
I met an awsome local drummer several years ago, he told me his DW's cost him roughly $12000 just for the 4 small toms, bass drum and hardware. That's not including the snare and cymbals.
If you want something similar you could probably build it yourself, the typical deep cocktail drum shell is the real pain in building a drum. The sizes shown on DW's site are closer to standard. I think they would be fairly affordable if you would try doing it yourself.
Although it would be badass to own a DW cocktail set.
