SuperBowl Chili Peppers - Cocktail Drum

Did anyone catch that there was a Cocktail Drum integrated into the Chili Peppers' drum kit?

I noticed it and thought of Louis Bellson.

The NFL is auctioning off everything BUT the cocktail drum to benefit the Make A Wish foundation. You still have a day or two to bid on the AFC and/or the NFC halves of the kit and Chad Smith's drum sticks. No word on what will become of the cocktail drum centerpiece.

Hi,

The Chili Pepper's drummer is endorsed by Pearl Drums and they just came out with an electronic version of a Cocktail kit for NAMM 2014. That's probably where they got the shell to add to his kit.

NIce one Comet! I remember that picture now that I see it again. Funny how few things are 'new'.

WHy are they not auctioning the cocktail kit? because it is in the center and does not 'belong' to either half? Curious...
