I have a blue satin Slingerland Cocktail Drum, I wish
to restore...14x24 aprox has holes for legs on bottom
has had strings on top head a side mount for
some thing but no bottom cover, no lugs for bottom
cover...This does not match with other drums I have
seen...Anybody have any Idea what type of drum
this is?

Sounds like a standard 1960's Slingy cocktail drum to me. Perhaps it's been parted out, but if the shell is good, it should be no problem to restore.

Desrcribe the badge. Gold/black or silver/black? Serial number? I'm guessing a "P" is stamped inside the shell.

Look through the pics on this site and I bet you'll find a similar drum....

Is the color Blue Sparkle or Blue Satin Flame? The flame is more rare than the sparkle.
These are the most common Slingerland models. Yours is most likely one of them.
