Hello, Yesterday I finally got to play a cocktail drum--A Club Jordan. I have to say I wasn't impressed with the snare sound from the 15 x 24 main drum, even when I cranked it all the way up.
I wanted to play this kit as I'm considering purchasing a vintage slingerland online that's approximately 14 x 22. The snare wires on this drum look longer than the yamaha but I'm concerned that I may not be happy with the snare sound on this drum as well.
Thoughts on snare sound for a single drum cocktail set-up? Thanks, CG
