Well, from our "At least I learned something" department, I went to Musiciansfriend.com and got a Nomad Conga case for my 16" cocktail drum...got a 17 inch case, and guess what? The drum doesn't fit!!!! This 17 inch case would be perfect for a 14" coctail drum, so if you need one, I'd let it go for the $70 plus shipping I have in it so I can buy a 19" instead.
The case is 31 inches tall so you could put a little divider in it and put some light hardware in there too.
