Last evening the boys came over to practice for the acoustic gig we have this weekend.
I worked on the tuning of my main drum and am now getting a good bass drum sound and floor tom sound in the mix of the other instruments. I have my cymbal setup picked out except for one more crash and my snare which is seperate is sounding pretty good also. The only thing left is the small tom. This kit is finally coming together soundwise for me and the rest of the band really digs it too, and it looks so cool also.
For anyone just starting the Cocktail Drum journey, just remember that it takes some time to get used to it and its sound. Good Luck, Mango'
