Please go to this wed and check out this cool drum.For those lucky one,you may want to give it a try to convert it to a "Cocktaildrum". :idea:

That snare looks great. I wish I could see the 'flat' drums. No pic.

Cocktailers
I listened to the audio examples of these drums, some of it is interesting - what is the consensus on the sound of the kick?

Does the Flats kick sound anything like your 18" rototom as used like a kick?

I actually owned a kit identical to the green AT set up. It is an interesting concept that worked pretty sweet. You could tune the toms while playing if they went out of tune due to heat or air-conditioning by just giving the steal rim a tap. The kick drum was a monster in both sound and weight. These were possibly the heaviest drums I ever owned.

Sorry,Multiperc,I never got the change to try out the Flats kick.But,I think there both work the same.My 18"Roto tom Bass sound good when mic-up! :D
