DW5000 Conversion - Play in the axle?

I've got a slight problem after converting my DW 5000 (newer model). The axle seems to have a tiny bit of play, meaning it can slide a bit from left to right. I have a feeling that the bushing on the left side of the pedal isn' t in all the way, but it fits really tight and after greasing it and trying to pound it in, it looks like it's in all the way but I still get movement in the axle. Granted it's nothing I notice when I play, but I feel like the pedal isn't put back together properly.

Has anyone else had this problem?
