Sorry,I didn't build the Hi-Hat.It's a Taiwan Made call LAZER Brand Cable Hi-Hat.It's very cheap compare to other brand like Tama ,Pearl,DW etc!Hope u can find it!It works just like those normal hi-Hat,But...the "Feel" it's a little Slow.You have to get some time to get use to it.I prefer to use Cable Hi-Hat for this "Boxtail"drum :Easy to carry,look more cool!
and I can position it anywhere with the Clamp!I sugget you try out the Pearl cable Hi-Hat!
