Hi,
Just want to share my recent new drum project!
(1)16" Tama Rock-Star floor-tom coverted it to Mini Snare & Bass(16"x8" & 6" x 5" Mini Snare)
(2)I add a short metal-bar on the snare's stand so that,it can clamp the 16" shell easily!(Normal snare stand can fit in the 16" shell)
(3)Covert a Lazer Brand kick-pedal to Remote-Cable kick pedal(1)Mtb's brake cable(Yesterday,I just change it to Car's clutch cable)(2)The whole pedal is sitted on the plywood(For weight saving,I don't use metal-plate!)and attached it with Pearl Multi-Clamp.
(4)Use a plywood as Pedal's Base.
(5)White colour Children soft rubber ball for the beater.
(6)use a thin plywood to cover the 16" shell's bottom, and cut a 6" hole just for the kick's mic to go in.
I already test it with the Band. It's real fun to play...all my band's member's start laughing when they see that White Rubber ball beater go up & down with the drum's groove.

Peter

Hi!
There's a video taken during Jazz Festival by my friend! just go to You Tube and type "Spice Of Tones - KK Jazz Fest 2011". You can see & hear the drum's sound!
Thanks!

Hey, Peter. I looked at the Youtube video, and it is great! A whoie set - that really shows off the whole group nicely. Your drum kit fits in soundwise so well, and the oud (or gambus - same thing?) really adds to it. Thanks for posting.
