My cocktail kit

Post by Martin McFly »

Trustice to all of u out there!

I bought my kit on ebay - for about $190 (=161? cause it was on the german eBay;) and it is a very cheap copy of the Club Jordan. Itt seems to me like it is in a very good quality... for 190bugs!

It's complete with an 8" snare drum (normal snare mechanic), a bass drum in 14" and a additional drum in 10" + cymbals in 14" (I'm not using it - I use an 13" 802 cymbal) and (I'm not shure) a hihat in 11"!!! I've never seen a 11" hihat on the whole internet!
Also with this kit is a cowbell (the first good sounding cowbell I've ever heared!) and that's all.

The pedal works great and the toms are sounding well - Im proud of my kit;)

Hi Martin,

Great looking kit! Do you know what the brand is? Also what is the construction? The picture looks like wood shells with a wood stained finish. Most cheaper drums are made out of that cheap resin-fiber compressed material.

Very curious!

Ok, here's a little more info:

These guys are selling them through their ebay store. There are two kits up for auction right now starting at VERY low prices. I would think that anyone in Europe should check these out since the shipping should not be too bad.

Here is their main page:
http://stores.ebay.de/musicseller24_W0Q ... idZ2QQtZkm

and under 'Profi Schlagzeuge' are:

Hope this helps someone find a Cocktail Drum!

That's the model I bought for 161? on eBay.de

It's more than okay for that small money;)

You just have to replace the heads and put a pillow in the bass drum to get a realy nice kit.

It's made out of wood, you are righ!

I use it for ska music and something like that...
