Here is a shot of my 1965 Leedy kit in white marine pearl. The drum has a mohagony shell with maple rings. The tom/bongo is the same set up but the inside of the drum is painted white. The drum has no baffle or soundhole. The drum came with the original pedal mechanism but is incomplete. I use a converted regular pedal. The lugs are Leedy Beavertails, all other hardware is slingerland, which is common for this era of Leedy drums (owned by slingerland). The snare mechanism is the converted brush style with a tension knob. I was told the bare stripe in the wrap is present because the companies sometimes did not have a piece big enough to cover the entire drum. I was also told there was some kind of gold material present where the bare stripe is located, but I am not convinced. If anyone has any other information on Leedy cocktail drums, please drop me a line!<br>
