maxi / mini kit

Post by halfcocked »

Got hold of a cheap old set of drums, Lenko (Tawian), Mahogany shells! Converted it to a dual set.
16" Floor Tom: mounted a single tom mount, 2 retracting Bass legs and Keller maple wood hoops.Use one the existing floor tom leg mounts to mount a riser for the pedal to hit square on the head. Now it's Bass drum! 2 other floor tom leg mounts can hold cowbell and splash cymbal.
13" Tom: Mounted 3 floor tom leg mounts. Now it's a floor tom!
12" Tom stays the same.
MINI SET! :D
All can be put back together as a full size 22" Bass set too!
Changed to all new hardware. Most parts and 22" & 16" Keller maple wood hoops supplied by http://www.billyblastdrums.com

Here's how it looks!

Will send some shots of it in action real soon.
