Hi Cocktail Drummers! I purchase a Slingerland Expresso kit last summer with the idea that I could use it to help teach my kit-less drumming students in their homes. That is working out very well. But then I joined up with an instrumental surf rock guitarist, a bass player, and formed "The Aquatudes" - an instrumental surf rock band. I have been using the cocktail kit to play at smaller venues.
Here is a YouTube video of us playing a gig at a nature center, of all places (they usually book softer folk music, and they served cookies!)

Aquatudes Surf Rock with Cocktail Drums
hey Drumsdick
I just watched your video on Youtube. Good show. Your drums sound just as good as a kit. I'm new to Cocktail drums myself. I've been doing some alterations and experiments. Right now I'm trying Ddrum triggers and a Roland V6 through a bass amp. What a sound. I'm going to do a video and post it on my
youtube site.
Keep your Cocktail up
