In March, I will have been playing in this Jazz/Standards group for one year. We are playing the same gig again this year that I started with them last March. It is a very hoity toity affair with a large portion of Little Rock's and the state's highest rollers in attendance. I will be using the Cocktail Kit this year for it now that I can get a good sound out of it. Really looking forward to it now. Just wish I could get used to playing standing up.
BTW, I played the Cocktail Kit at another big shindig at the Clinton Library here in Little Rock. I don't know if my playing suits the boys, or they just like the way the Kit looks on stage. That's probably it. LOL
