Keith - in your pics, you show the Worldmax pedal - looks like a slave (no left post) that you converted (mentioned that Dennis recommended it).

Can you tell me:

- model number
- where you got it
- cost

Was it easy to modify to strike upwards?

Thanks
The pedal I use is pretty much like the one on the left in this picture:

I bought it directly from Phattie, on Dennis' recommendation. Probably any pedal with a footplate would work, but this one is particularly easy to convert, because it's a single post.

The single post makes it easy to take the sprocket off and reverse it - only takes a minute with an Allen wrench. That's nice, because it makes it more practical to use this as your primary pedal for both regular and cocktail kits, or as a viable backup pedal.

If you buy it from Phattie, they'll convert the pedal for you before shipping it (at least they did for me). But it's easy to do. If you're into major brands, look around and see if anybody else makes a single-post pedal with footplate.

I like mine, and have had no problems with it - I do a lot of gigs with my cocktail kit, and it works like a champ. You might want to stick on some Velcro strips on the bottom plate, and carry the kind of carpet (indoor-outdoor) that Velcro clings to.

But I haven't bothered to do that. The only time it's crept on me has been when I was playing LOUD, on a plush carpet. Then I had to readjust it every few songs, not a big deal. (I don't usually bring the kit to a gig that I think is going to be real loud, but now and then life throws you some surprises!)
PS - Forgot to answer a couple of your Q's:

I think I paid about 100 bucks for it. Don't know the exact model number, just told Dennis to send me the pedal he recommended.

Phattie has made somewhat of a specialty of building cocktail kits, so I decided to trust his judgement, and was not disappointed.
