me play reggae for a long time and turned now into the ska mode
therefor I have to play and easy OneDrop (line in reggae) but very fast OR???
I know the original ska beat but do you know some good websites about some thing like that? other versions to play ska - how to play fills and how to star with an introducing?
The best thing I know of is just listen to some old skool kats {the specials,operation ivy,the beat...stuff like that maybe the police/stew copeland junk too.The trick is fast but good timing,triplets on the hats and play the accents on the "and" on your ride ...alot.Oh and dont forget to skank n jive all night long{beers and creepers are a must}...happy drummin!
