I checked out your cocktail angst video. very cool. are those songs originals?. On last tango to vegas, who's playing the guido or is that a backing track? are the bongos you play next to or attached to the kit? what kind are they?

Yes, all of the songs in the video are originals!

There are some percussion overdubs on the tracks. Even some doubled bongo parts. I played it all...

The bongos are Remo Kids Bongos (with red sparkle contact paper). They hang from a make shift S-hook pieced together with bits from the hardware store. Then a bungie cord is streched across them hooking to the lugs. Very simple and quite sturdy!

Hey John

Any photo details of your bongo mounting design? I'd be interested in the 'bits from the hardware store' that made the final mount work. I bet the bungees are what provides the extra strength! Boingggg

And the contact paper you're using looks pretty nice! Where's that from?
