Hi guys, I know it's been like a year since I last posted, but I have been so engrossed in my study. This doesn't mean I have been any less engrossed in my cocktail kit though! Now this years exams are nearly over, I am determined to finally upload some photos and explanations of my kit. One major thing I did, was to knock up a handy wooden platform about 10cm high, with rectangular cutouts for the foot pedals of my bass and cable hi-hat at ergonomic angles. These are covered in soft carpet and make a world of difference! Just MDF on 2X4, quite crude, but very effective. The foot pedals slide under the cutouts into hollowed out sections that hold them in place, and allows a rigid flat foot platform over the first half of the pedal as a consistent flat edge to support the heel above the pedal.
Anyway, more on this later.
Keep it real guys!
Peace.
Hayden.
EDIT: Shout out to Andrew if you see this!!! The heads you got me are still surviving nicely!
