Remo kick conga for cocktail?

Yeah, this drum has been around for years. I actual thought they stopped making it until it showed up on their website. It is a very short drum which requires playing seated.

I played one once ina music store and did not like it so much. Of course they probably had no idea how to tune it to get a good sound.

ANyone here ever have on of these?

I think they are pretty cool. If you added one of Pearl's new top of the drum snare mechanisms to it and used roots, rods, or brushes, I think you might have something. Adding a couple of other small ethnic drums would round out things for a nice kit.
