I have done some test on the Kelly Shu BD mic system and the 12" yamaha SD2240 snare drum.
1. Kelly Shu

what can I say ?? it works very well. When you first find out ,how to do it , then it was easy
to do.
2. SD2240

Its not a high end top quality snare drum but it fits very well with the yess mount.
the weight is about 3300g so its a little bit more than the Club Jordan snr dr ( 2000g).
The drum has the same lugs as the snr.dr and tom.
You can make some very nice rim shot and the drum sound is very nice, its more like a "real" snare sound than the small Club Jordan snr.

I am very happy with the Kelly shu and the SD2240 and both products do their job.
